Understanding

Yep. That is what this poem is called. I have decided to go even deeper into knowledge and to create wisdom. Enjoy!

Be swept into a land
Where heaven joins earth
Be in the presence of cherubs and Little Angels
Be in Prayer and meditation
Think of how
God created this world
Observe all details
For you shall find
A bit of God in everything
Be,
Observe,
Think,
For there is a little bit of the master
In the learner.

I hope you enjoyed this poem. Mom sure enjoyed it.

A Poem by Kyle

I couldn't think of a name for this poem, so that has to be the name for the blog entry.

The breeze of righteousness,
The wind of Truth,
carries me to heaven, and
now I am back.
The Gates of Glory,
Made of heaven's finest gold,
And the archangels, they guard the Gate
From Sadness and Grief
From Lies and Greed,
I had gone on a ship,
leading to heaven,
Sailing on the seas of the Afterlife,
A language of love
Is spoken in heaven,
And angels are carrying
Prayers on their backs, and leaving God
To answer them, he sends them back to Heaven's
United Postal Service,
And love balloons are sent from Earth,
I could go on and on about this magnificent place,
But for now, let me rest,
For I have the journey of life ahead of me!

That is the poem that I wrote. I was thinking about John Milton's book, "Paradise Lost," when I wrote it. But I also thought of what I thought of heaven. A poet, you see, always expresses his thoughts and feelings, you know!

Koschei the Deathless

This is a story based on a Russian fairytale. I hope you like it!

There was once a closet in which no one in the kingdom was allowed to enter. No one knew why, but the king ordered it, so no one did.
One day, the king's son, Prince Ivan, had discovered the closet. It was shut because a wooden hand locked it.
Prince Ivan went to touch the hand. And the moment he touched the hand, it slapped him. Prince Ivan saw blood coming out of the hand. When opened, Ivan saw a doll in red paint.
"Ha! A silly doll. I wonder why my father banned the closet from being opened."
But he didn't notice the doll had transformed into a strange man with a hunchback and long arms. "Thanks, friend."
Prince Ivan turned around and screamed.

"Father...I just saw a-a-a doll transform into a-a-a person." "Let me guess. You opened the closet," said the king. "Yes," Ivan admitted.
"Well, there is nothing we can do about it," said the king. And to this day, we know this man to be Koschei the Deathless.(He is immortal) Some claim that he roams the land to this day.
As for the closet-it vanished.

The Tale of Vasilisa the Beautiful and Baba Yaga

This is not a fairytale that I made up. It is about Baba Yaga. Enjoy!

There was once a beautiful girl that was named Vasilisa. She was sent to go to a ball for the prince. Sadly, the ignorant prince thought she was ugly.
Brokenhearted, Vasilisa ran away from home and foolishly searched for Baba Yaga to make her as beautiful as the sunset.
In case you do not know, Baba Yaga was an evil witch who made riddles in which the wrong answer could lead to death.
Vasilisa searched for Baba Yaga, awaiting a dangerous adventure.
There was a river she had to cross. Walking towards it, she found that a branch blocked her path. When Vasilisa found that the branch was broken, she fixed the branch and bound it in bandages. "Because you have been kind to me, I will not only let you pass, but give you a word of advice. You were sent to do something every time you go somewhere, because you were meant to go there, not by your will," said the branch.
When she got to the river, there was a fish on the ground. Vasilisa put the fish back into the water. "Because you have been kind to me, I shall not only carry you across the river, but give you a word of advice. Make new trails; do not follow one trail that someone has already created," said the fish. Vasilisa heeded the fish's advice, and was carried across the river.
Now she saw an owl with a splinter in her wing. Vasilisa took it out. "Because you have been kind to me, I shall not only carry you across these trees to Baba Yaga's hut so that you won't get lost, but give you a word of advice. You step in a new river everyday." The owl carried Vasilisa across the trees in the forest.
Vasilisa arrived at Baba Yaga's hut. "I know what you want," said Baba Yaga. She took out a ring from her pocket and said, "When you put on this ring, you will become as beautiful as the sunset." Vasilisa took the ring, and, without hesitation, leaped towards the gate, but it closed by magic. Baba Yaga cackled an evil laugh. "Before you leave, I must ask you three questions. If you answer incorrectly, I shall kill you! Were you sent here?" Vasilisa remembered. "Yes." "Are you supposed to make new trails everyday?" Vasilisa remembered. "Yes." Baba Yaga was slowly starting to fume. "Do you step in a new river everyday?" Vasilisa remembered. "Yes." "NO! NO! NO!" Baba Yaga shouted angrily. The gates opened, and Vasilisa ran, followed by Baba Yaga.
"I will not let you find your way, because Vasilisa has been kind to me, and you stuck that splinter into my wing," said the owl. But Baba Yaga did find her way.
"I will not help you cross, because Vasilisa has been kind to me, and you threw me onto the ground to where I could not breathe," said the fish. But Baba Yaga jumped over the river by using her magic.
"I will not let you pass, because Vasilisa has been kind to me, and you have broken my branch," said the tree, and all the other trees agreed. When Baba Yaga tried to jump over the trees by using her magic, she found that she could not because the trees were too high a distance for a witch to jump over. When she tried to squeeze through the trees, she found that she was too fat. And when she tried to dig her way under the trees, she found that their roots reached to the core of the earth. Baba Yaga was imprisoned behind the trees.
Vasilisa had put on her ring, and when Vasilisa saw that it didn't work, the prince, feeling sorry for her, realized that it was the inside of a person that matters, and married her anyway. THE END

Listen, I pretty much changed the entire story, but I hope you like it anyway. Make a new trail everyday; don't be a follower, be a leader. And you step in a new river everyday, because you learn something everyday.

The Time Travel Adventure: Part 2

<< Continued from "The Time Travel Adventure: Part 1"

"This is my husband, Elliot," said Kathleen. Wait. Elliot wasn't the first name of J.K. Rowling's grandfather. He was a spy desperate to make sure J.K. Rowling wasn't born! "Really?" "Well no, we're just dating." Whew! "What job does he have?" "He cooks in a restaurant." "Then how come this Spy Badge is in his pocket?" John took out the badge from his pocket.
Kathleen stopped dating Elliot and dated & married someone else. J.K. Rowling was born and they all lived happily ever after.

The Time Travel Adventure: Part 1

Listen, I'm fascinated with Time Travel. So I decided to create a time travel adventure. Enjoy!

John Kipling was a time traveler. He was sent back in time on a mission assigned to him by the government. In the adventure, John had to stop some spies trying to change the world-for the worse-through changing time.

What? Where am I? Am I dead? thought John. No. I can't be. I just got sent to go on a mission for the government. Of course I'm not dead.
Someone opened the door. It was a man. "Hey!" he said. "Hey!"
Suddenly a woman came out of the door. "I don't trust him!" cried out the man. John smiled weekly. "Calm down man!" cried out somebody. It was a woman who had just walked out of the door. "Now, hello young man. Would you like to stay for the night?" "Yes, please," said John, aware of his mission. "What's your name?" "Kathleen." Kathleen was supposed to be J.K. Rowling's grandmother!

The Amulet

This is a futuristic story-similar to a book I'm writing right now. This story is known as The Amulet.

Once upon a time, the builders of an underwater paradise decided to create an Amulet that contained electrical abilities.
A thousand years later, a boy named Adrian found the Amulet. He wore it everywhere. But the Amulet was also a link to a secret society. And so the society followed him.
However, the boy dropped the Amulet. There the sun gave more abilities to the Amulet. It was solar-powered!
Pretty soon, the Amulet downloaded every bit of computer images and information. Nowadays, EVERYONE is looking for the Amulet.
No one knows what happened to the Amulet. Some say a society member betrayed the society and took the Amulet only to find out that it was fake. Others say the Amulet was destroyed.

Well, that is it. Hope you like this story!
