Hi. I know, I know, I have not written for almost a month now, so I'll make it up to you by showing you this awesome book I am writing about. Here is a snippet:
Chapter 1:
Slavery
On the night of his birthday, Jahael had gotten no celebration, no festivities, no nothing. Why? The answer was simple: He was a slave.
Everyone, every ferret, mouse, frog, you name it-were enslaved by eagles and birds. In exchange for their hard work, the eagles decided not to eat them. All the while, the eagles ruled with a scepter that gave them power and riches.
Jahael, the subject of our story, lived in an enslavement camp in the Mountains of Angora, guarded by eagles Heimdall and Van Tassel. As a ferret, he was very content in listening to his father's stories of chivalry and noble deeds in a land full of freedom. But as a slave, he felt nothing but the lash of a lighting bolt forged in the Ice Desert's Cape End.
In that time, lightning bolts were effective whips, and some ferrets even died from this deadly weapon.
The eagles wanted power, and when they grasped it, they made sure it could not be taken from them. And this was what they did. This was how they served the high eagle.
Every single slave wanted to rebel, but they didn't do so. For the time being, they had to accept this treatment.
One day, they thought, We will rise. And one day, freedom will be restored...

3 things to Protect You
Listen, this is an guide for nerds. If you're a bully-
THIS IS A WASTE OF YOUR TIME. Continue whatever you are doing and stop reading. Or you will have to-um-negotiate strenuously.
Do's and Don'ts
*Never ever ever ever ever EVER mess with kids three times your size. Heed my warning: YOU WILL have to go through unscheduled goose-chases.
*Try to be very organized.
*When you are threatened by a b-u-l-l-y NEVER look at what you do not want them to do to you. Look at something you know won't hurt you physically or emotionally. See-the bullies want to embarass you in any way possible. And their motto: What are you lookin' at?

The Best School EVER!
"New town, new school," an eighth grader said. "Bet you have no idea what a 'neophyte' is!"
"Yes I do," I told her. "A neophyte is basically a newbie, like I am."
But the eighth grader was no longer paying attention. She started talking to her friends.
The bell rang. Great, I thought. Just great. Time for class. I walked in there slowly. I sat down in a random place by the window.
A man walked in. "For those of you who do not know me, I am Nick Armstrong." A girl raised her hand. "You mean-the Armstrong?!" The man laughed. "No, not the man who walked on the moon. That was Neil Armstrong." The girl put her hand down. "Oh."
"Kids, we are going to travel in time!" Everyone burst out laughing. But then, he showed us a door concealed beneath the floor. We walked into it, and saw a chamber. There were seats there. Each student sat into one. Suddenly, the chamber opened up into a portal. Then seat buckles automatically appeared. After that, the seats changed into a roller coaster, and we sped right into the portal-opening!
Soon, we were at a harbor. "This is Plymouth. In 1620, the Mayflower landed here. You will get to interview one person at this scene." I got to interview a girl named Remember Patience Whipple. I thought this was some kind of a joke, so I tried to trip her up with words like "Mom" and "Dad". Then I realized it-This wasn't working. This was real!
In the art class, I began to literally Draw to Life!
In science, we shrunk and looked in other people's bodies!
Maybe fifth grade wasn't so bad after all!

School for Nymphs
Like Harry Potter? Then you will like this!
There was once a man that walked out of the River. People were astounded! The man hadn't even walked in!
This man's name was Firvarr, and he was the headmaster at Parsifalis' School of Training and Learning.
Firvarr was off to fetch Karisklusmos (pronounced: Care-iss-clues-MOSE) , a little male nymph who was just about ready for school.
He found him, knee-deep in the water, swimming. Come, Karisklusmos, come, Firvarr thought. Being a nymph, Karisklusmos heard his thoughts, and swam over to him. "Yes?" asked Karisk (let's just call him that. His name's long, trust me, I know) "Come with me. Don't worry-your parents know me. See?" said Firvarr. Sure enough, Karisk's parents were ushering him to go on.
"Okay," thought Karisk.
He was put on top of an eagle, and he flew to the Black Forest.
Along with the other students, Karisk was in a ceremony to discover what kind of nymph he was.
Now just so you know, there are more nymphs than dryads, naiads, hamadryads, etc. There are nymphs of the eagles, nymphs of the sky-the point is, the staff at Parsifalis' must recognize what nymph they are. The students have to chant an incantation, and then they show their true form. Depending on what this form is, the staff will give out a schedule showing what classes they will be assigned to and what time they take place.
Anyways, I just wanted to show you that. Bye! (And have a happy ending-all of you!)

Spread a Little Magic: Part 2
This is the second part of Spread a Little Magic.
Part 2:
Karen got up and introduced herself. "My name is Karen."
"Welcome! Come here, Angel!" A beautiful young baby was given to Karen. "That's you. When you were born." Karen laughed. "Me? You must be joking!"
"Karen, I'm not joking. You are one of The Others, given the ability to bring magic into the world and work miracles and aspire the world to follow their dreams, alongside your grandmother."
"My grandmother? What does she have to do with anything?" Karen gulped because it was obvious that she was hiding something. "Karen, I know your grandmother. As an Other she did not die-rather, she passed through that world into this. And look! Here she comes!"
The grandmother walked up. Karen was astounded.
"Come with me, Karen, we have work to do!"
As they rode in the sleigh, Karen asked her grandmother if she was the one who said "I love you."
The grandmother answered by saying "Oh no, I didn't say it. I expressed it. Words don't mean anything- it's your expressions that matter the most. And that is true magic, don't you think so?"
And so off they rode. And this Christmas-you just might see Karen working miracles, and making other people's dreams come true.
The love that lives inside us is true magic-don't you think so?
I made this story up, though I admit I got the idea from The Legend of Holly Claus-written by Brittany Ryan! Good-bye-and remember: Try to spread a little magic!

Spread a Little Magic
This is an account of "Spread a Little Magic", a child's tale, translated from the Swedish by Kyle.
Part 1:
Christmastime was drawing near.
In the midst of all the hubbub, little Karen was cold. Snowflakes fell down in this part of Sweden. Children were playing in the snow. But not Karen. Karen was a beautiful little girl, but was beginning to seem like her beauty was to go to waste.
Karen was depressed ever since her grandmother passed away.
Passed into an Undying Beauty. Probably was enjoying her happiness without giving a care about Karen.
She began to cry. Why was everyone happy-and not her? Suddenly she felt someone kiss her forehead. An angelic melody said "I love you."
Karen turned but saw out of the corner of her eye wings fluttering in the air. When she looked again she saw nothing.
"Does my grandmother miss me?" Karen asked herself. Someday, she knew she would learn the answer.
She thought she saw a sleigh. "Sinter Klaas?" she wondered (Sinter Klaas is the Swedish name for Santa Claus)
As the sleigh hovered over her, she grabbed it just in time.
Whoosh! Was she flying over oceans? That was impossible!
Finally, the sleigh stopped to a halt. "I am the patron saint of magic-I am Saint Nicholas!"

Ferimin
The Goodhearted Fae Folk,
O Hear us o queen!
The Emperor holds an Undying Magic!
O hear us! The present time has come!
-An excerpt from 'The Markings of the Scepter'
Here I shall reveal the the past of the mysterious Ferimin, a good-natured Fae, and now rules over Asgard.
He was born in 1775, during the Revolutionary War (that was actually started by the Fae and the elves). For reasons unknown, Ferimin was switched with a baby named Joseph. But when "Ferimin" was about 4 years of age, he discovered his true identity. Suddenly, when he was 8, he started doing strange things. REALLY strange things. He had dreams of the future, and when he woke up, the events he saw had already come to pass.
When Ferimin was 49, in 1824, he saw and heard the the Ninth Symphony (Ode to Joy) And on that very same day, he was finally located. And there, he was appointed in the Alliance of the Fae.
184 years later, he met me. Ferimin, having overcome grief from the disappearance of Lieorel (you can learn about her in an earlier post) he met Tari, and fell in love.
After the Norse Gods and Godesses got kicked out of Asgard, Ferimin was the Ruler of Thunder and lightning in Asgard.
That's it. When I learn about Ferimin's adventures I'll put them on my next blog post. It is probably coming soon!
