Pseudonymous Bosch: The Name of this Book is Secret

THE NAME OF THIS BOOK IS SECRET
Author: Psudonymous Bosch
Protagonist(s): Cassandra (referred to as "Cass") and Max-Ernest
Antagonists: Ms. Mauvais and Dr.L (Full name discovered nearing to the end)

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Sorry, I've only read two of the books, I don't know if there's any information about the fictional author Psuedonymous Bosch.

ABOUT THE BOOK:

The book starts by saying that the book is nonfiction but that none of the names of the characters were changed "for your safety as well as mine".
Then it talks about a girl named Cassandra, a "survivalist. But then she comes across a box labeled: The Symphony of Smells by Gloria, a realtor that salvaged the box from a fire that took place in a magician's house, who is presumed to be dead. As she is investigating the box, a boy named Max-Ernest, a boy with a mental condition that psychologists argue about, as his parents argued about his name, walks up and introduces himself, and asks what she is doing. Then Cassandra lets Max-Ernest learn about The Symphony of Smells. Together they solve a code that reads "Help".
After seeing that, the kids' schedule is to go to the magician's house. Nothing is burnt there.
Soon, the children find the magician's diary, but they have a close encounter with a woman named Ms. Mauvais and Dr.L who want the Symphony of Smells, but Gloria tells them that she gave it away. Ms. Mauvais sees Cass, but only for a millisecond, and the kids run off.
When reading the diary, the children find out that Ms. Mavais is evil. And then the kids solve lots of mysteries, including missing people, elixir, and A Confusion of the Senses. And Cass tries to rescue a boy by committing fraud!

This book is not a major motion picture yet.

A Book Review: A Series of Unfortunate Events; The Bad Beginning

Weird, I know. Instead of poems and STORIES, it'll be poems, movie reviews and book reviews.

THE BAD BEGINNING:

Author: Lemony Snicket, aka Daniel Handler
Illustrator: Brett Helquist
Protagonists: Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire
Antagonist: Count Olaf

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Lemony Snicket

(This is about the fictional Lemony Snicket)

Lemony Snicket, according to my research, fell in love with a young woman named Beatrice (the Baudelaires mom). What I THINK happened was that while at a party at her mansion, a fire occured. Lemony Snicket knew that this would happen, so according to my logic, someone purposely started the fire. Lemony Snicket was the only survivor, and as this happened Lemony Snicket's heart was broken as he saw that Beatrice's heart belonged to a man named Bertrand, who was the Baudelaires father since fourteen years ago. That's what I think happened; most of what I told you wasn't even revealed in the books. But then again, there still is much to be revealed in the books, even though the last book in the series has been published. Discover for yourself...
Lemony Snicket is convicted of false felonies reported by the Daily Punctilio, a sloppily written newspaper, and because of those reports, Beatrice did not want to marry him. But his trial was delayed, so now he has time to write about the Baudelaire orphans.

ABOUT THE BOOK: (The First in the Series) The Bad Beginning

After the Baudelaire Parents (Beatrice and Bertrand) die in a fire (which I think turns out to be arson), the Baudelaire youngsters, Violet, Klaus and Sunny are informed at Briny Beach by Mr. Arthur Poe (identified throughout the series as Mr. Poe), a banker in charge of the fortune that the Baudelaire parents left to their children.
The Baudelaire orphans are put into the care of Count Olaf, a disgusting, greedy man who wants their fortune. He attempts to do this with a play called The Marvelous Marriage, but with a real Justice of The Peace (A contract that people sign to make the marriage official and legal) When a person is married, then they have any and all rights to each other's money. And they can marry while under eighteen with permission from their guardian. Count Olaf pretends to be an actor in the play, but tries to marry the Violet, fourteen years of age and the oldest Baudelaire child. Can the Baudelaires stop Count Olaf's despicable scheme?

This book is now a major motion picture, entitled "Lemony Snicket's: A series of Unfortunate Events," portraying 3 out of the 13 books by Lemony Snicket.
