Hi! This is like a "teaser trailer" for my book! I know I've given an excerpt from my book once, but mom says that perhaps I could give out another snippet. Here it is then:
In the meantime, at the night of his birthday, Jahael was finally old enough to do one thing: Go to a meeting. A secret meeting. Ferrets often had secret meetings, often to discuss how to escape.
"Let's go," Jahael's father said. "But be careful; if any eagle sees you, our secrets as we know them will be in dire jeopardy."
So off they went, leaping past boulders and whatnot. Finally, they reached a cliff. Eagles didn't worry about these cliffs, because they were much too slippery to climb down. Jahael's father lifted up a trapdoor at the edge of the cliff. This, you see, was beyond what Jahael had expected...
