INTRODUCTION
You know how big things always happen? Well, this time we present to you a tale called Paul Bunyan. It is a story that teaches that no matter what your size, or how clumsy you are, you can accomplish many, MANY things.
Once upon a time, in Maine, a large cradle appeared on the shore. And when I say a large cradle, I mean a LARGE cradle. It was about as big as two houses on top of each other, and as wide as three modern day apartments. Everyone, saw the large cradle. The townspeople were interested in the large cradle. And inside, there was a BABY!
At the time, the baby was named Paul Bunyan.
Soon, after Paul became an adult, he went off to face the world. Paul Bunyan went to the west. In a blizzard, Paul Bunyan found an ox. A blue ox. The ox was named Babe, and Paul kept the ox as a pet. But the most peculiar thing about Babe was that he was as big as Paul Bunyan…
Off went Paul Bunyan. He traveled to Minnesota. After having been lost in a rainstorm, Paul trudged on, and he escaped the rainstorm. He left footprints that were full of water. These footprints were called lakes. That is the reason why there are ten thousand lakes in Minnesota.
At the end of summer, Paul and Babe were in Wyoming, out west. They were so happy, they had a wrestling match. Because of all the stomping and the kicking, Paul and Babe created the Grand Tetons.
Babe and Paul found a place full of logging camps. There, they met a stranger named Joe Muffaw that challenged him to test whether his ox could pull trees down faster than a locomotive that pulled logs that Joe invented.
You might think Paul won the challenge- but no. Babe lost by an unmerciful half an inch. So Paul headed up north.
No one knows what happened to Paul these days. But I think it must be something good, after all that had happened to him.
I agree that Paul must have lived out his life up north in peace and happiness. He overcame many challenges. Great story. Keep them coming.
