INTRODUCTION
It is Day #5. It is COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD outside! Brrrr! And guess what? We present to you a tale told by Washington Irving. And that
tale is known as Rip Van Winkle. Enjoy the story...
Once upon a time, there was a good natured man known as Rip Van Winkle. There was a woman he loved. A very
special woman, too. But no one knew her name. Rip Winkle LOVED her. It was pure romance when he saw her.
Anyways, Winkle went home. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! YOU DID NOT DEAL WITH THE FARM, RIPPER!!" Rip's wife shouted. Ripper was
her favorite name to call Winkle. While yelling with her eyes closed, Rip deliberately went out of the room.
He was planning to go into the mountains to find a nice bird to eat. "RIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRR!!" But
Rip was gone.
Winkle found a dwarf. The dwarf told Rip to drink a special drink. Rip did as he was told. Then, Rip fell in a deep sleep...
Rip woke up and found he had a beard! He found out that he was OLD! Climbing down the mountain, Rip found that years had passed.
He also found that his dream girl had married long ago, and that his wife died of pnemonia.
Though this tale is unique, it a sad story. But some things are meant to be.
If a dwarf gives you a drink, DON'T drink it!
